Entering personal data
We, DKB, respect and protect your privacy - whether you are a customer, an authorised person, a prospective customer, an applicant or a visitor to our website. Below you can get a brief overview of what data about you we collect and what we do with it. What data does DKB use?
We collect your personal data when you get in touch with us, when you apply for a personal or car loan or want to open an instant access savings account with DKB, and also when you visit our website. In line with data minimisation, we limit ourselves to what is necessary. That means we only collect your data when it is absolutely necessary.

Who receives my data from DKB?
Your data is passed on mainly because of statutory reporting obligations. Other recipients are selected agents and service providers who act for us as processors (under Art. 28 GDPR) and who may be given access to your data to the extent required in each case. Processors are subject to numerous contractual obligations and may, in particular, process your personal data only on DKB's instructions and solely to carry out the tasks we have given them.
How long is my data stored?
DKB never stores your data for longer than it is needed for the relevant processing purpose, unless a statutory retention period or a limitation period for legal claims applies
Do I have to provide my data?
To use a DKB offer, you are asked to provide personal data. It is entirely your decision whether to use that offer and enter your data. Your data is of course processed only for the purpose for which you provided it to us. For example, personal data is needed when opening an account or applying for a loan in order to perform the relevant contract. Without that data we are unable to enter into a contract with you. That means we would not then be able to offer you our products and services.
